Features: DVD, Widescreen, Aspect Ratio 1.78:1, Dolby Digital (2.0), Featurette, Character Profiles, Quirks, Spanish Subtitled, 4 Discs

Television's most brilliant detective is back, and he's ready to battle any crime...as long as it doesn't involve germs, heights or other people! Emmy Award and Golden Globe winner Tony Shaloub returns to DVD in all 16 third season episodes of the funny, fresh and quirky series, Monk.

Rejoin Adrian Monk, the defective detective, who must overcome his obsessive-compulsive disorder and investigate the death of his wife, Trudy. Still hoping to be reinstated in the San Francisco Police Department, Monk continues to use his sharp intelligence, photographic memory and ever-present hand wipes to solve even the dirtiest cases. At his side are Captain Stottlemeyer (Ted Levine), Lieutenant Disher (Jason Gray-Stanford), Sharona Fleming (Bitty Schram) and newcomer Natalie Teeger (Traylor Howard), and together they take on some daunting opponents, including the Mafia, the FBI and a possibly murderous chimpanzee. Monk's back on the case and better than ever in this hilarious third season, which includes five obsessive brand-new featurettes!

This four disc collection includes the entire Season Three of Monk!

Editor's Note

The critically acclaimed, Emmy and Golden Globe winning MONK finally gave talented character actor Tony Shalhoub his perfect role. Adrian Monk (Shalhoub) is San Francisco's most brilliant detective, but is unable to serve on the police force because of his crippling neuroses and obsessive-compulsive disorder. However, he continues his investigations independently, often solving cases before the actual police are able to do so, and always seeking out clues to the unsolved murder of his wife. The combination of comedy, mystery, and a distinctively eccentric character have lead many to dub MONK the successor to COLUMBO. MONK: SEASON THREE collects all 16 episodes of the show's third year. It includes the final episodes featuring Monk's assistant Sharona (Bitty Schram), a popular character who was replaced over contract demands, much to the consternation of the program's fans.
