Jessie is an aging career criminal who has been in more jails, fights, schemes and lineups than just about anyone else. His son, Vito, while currently on the straight and narrow, has had a fairly shady past and is indeed no stranger to illegal acitivity. They both have great hopes for Adam, Vitos son and Jessies grandson, who is bright, good-looking and without a criminal past. So when Adam approaches Jessie with a scheme for burglary, hes shocked, but not necessarily disinterested.
Editor's Note
Sean Connery, Dustin Hoffman, and Matthew Broderick star as three generations of a family formerly linked to organized crime. Grandfather Jesse has been in and out of jail, and his son Vito has decided to leave a life of crime in order to become a respectable family man, but when grandson Adam comes up with a can't-miss heist plan, the intergenerational sparks begin to fly.
