The popular and long-running Britcom AS TIME GOES BY (1992-2005) chronicled the rekindled romance between former lovers Jean Pargetter (Dame Judi Dench) and Lionel Hardcastle (Geoffrey Palmer), who were separated by World War II but reunited 38 years later. The movie-length sequel REUNION SPECIALS picks up where the series left off, with the now happily married Jean and Lionel anticipating grandparenthood--much to the dismay of their children, whose marital problems might preclude any such blessed events.
